Actually there is support for Git as a plugin.

In 6.7.1 It was listed in Tools->Plugins->Available plugins but in 6.8 it is not listed there.

But I just downloaded it from http://nbgit.org/ and installed manually in 6.8 and it looks like everything is working.

I’ve only used NetBeans (6.8 RC1) for a day and I’m already hooked… It would be a shame to let a bug like this ruin the fun.

Great article man! I’ve been using netbeans for a while now and am a very big fan of it.

There is a way to search your file using regexp.

When you press option+f there will be a list of check boxes beside the search box. One of them is “Regular Expression”
